Ppl have to take matters in their own hands, not some politican. Anybody can play upon one’s frustation to manipulate them (including their bank accounts). He wear’s the guise of a republican. Paul could easily exposed an underground resistance against a corrupt government by such persuasion. Ppl should educated themselves, gather resources, and hold on to their arms. Learning to be an independant thinker is the better way. I wouldn’t put my all business around this guy ppl.

No matter who you vote for, the Government wins.

Barack Obama amassed enormous wealth by running for president and with his new book. He has become a more corrupt president than Bush was. He has manipulated the masses to believe that he stood for hope and change when really he was nothing more than another flip flop politician who changes his opinions constantly in order to gain support in Washington. Barack Obama has no principle, no integrity and not enough strength or balls to stand up for what he believes in.

“no matters the words, they have meaning to that person” Words have meaning absolutely, a.k.a. you can look up a word’s definition. Words can’t vary from person to person, that is illogical. “to force one to have to bend to the will of another over words, (sic) is the highest form of narcissism.” Could you please explain what you meant by that? I don’t think it reveals anything about me that I prefer you speak in a civil tone. I’m not in any way suppressing the meaning behind your words either.

  10. BudnCandi

My point was… no matters the words, they have meaning to that person. To force one to have to bend to the will another over words, is the highest form of narcissism. By doing so, you limit the conversation to the trival, to ease your bruised ego. Instead, look at the context in which the words are used. Understand the limitations of others, as it pertains to their vocabulary. Words are not dangerous, actions are. “Only the suppressed word is dangerous.” - Ludwig Borne

Well, I’m not saying that you can’t use your language, whatever floats your boat, right? I’m telling you that by maintaining a vulgar tone of voice in your responses you’re simply winning no friends. It does little to bring your point to the table, and in most cases, it makes you look uneducated and uninformed. So far, all you’ve said in this conversation was an ill-attempt to make me look like a four-year old. If that doesn’t negate anything positive you imputed here, I have no idea what does.

  12. BudnCandi

It’s called freedom of speech.. or did that concept just not ‘click’ in your child-like mind ? How about I say the words ‘civil debate’ are vulgar ? The words ‘civil debate’ describes a process in which I or anyone else can express themselves in the way they feel fit. What if my version of ‘civil debate’ is not YOUR idea of ‘civil’ in this debate ? Who are U to choose which words can & can’t be used ? Don’t tell me or anyone else what they can or can’t do. I own my life, U live yours, thank you.

  13. pooper189

Haha, there are more constructive ways to express your anger. But also, like I said above, civil debate uses civil language. To use vulgarity in your speech makes your statement null and void. If you say ‘grow the (****) up,’ you’re reveling your own immaturity, not mine. If you can’t speak intelligibly, you shouldn’t get into the public debate. If you cannot control your lips, there are devices for that, it’s called a pacifier. Try it out.

  14. BudnCandi

They are just words. Some people get so pissed that they need something to get out frustration without beating the stuffing out of someone. If words hurt U… grow the fuck up.

  15. tylerhester128

now thats a real texas politician!

  16. pooper189

hahaha, wow. can you say language? Did you know that using vulgar language in a lot of ways negates your point? You’d never see Obama throwing out F-bombs in a speech because it’s “stronger language” or something like that. It just shows a lack of research and intelligence. Nor would you see any other good public speaker. Its unacceptable everywhere else, so why would you think it’s any different here?

ipomonster. we feel sorry for you, and will be there for your moral support and to say “i told you so” as obama sets into motion things that will destroy american sovereignty, you can cry on our magic shoulders when the shit hits the fan.

As an Australian, I believe Americans should consider themselves lucky. To have a politician with such an outspoken view, who votes according to their beliefs is a blessing. In my country, you would never find a politician out of step with there party. It’s machine politics at its worst. Even if you disagree with him, at least consider yourself lucky you have a politician willing to speak up for the things that matter. And if ya don’t like him send him to Australia. Cheers.
